Regardless of how much we attempt to intellectualize the painful experience of letting go of a loved family member or friend due to his/her death, it’s emotionally draining and it hurts far more deeply than any external wound.
Even though I spoke with him from my heart before my uncle Shishu passed away last week, I, along with many who he loved and those who loved him, are feeling the loss of his presence in our lives.
He left us with a legacy of love that I’m sharing with you as well as a few visual memories of a great man who committed his life to finding wisdom from whatever source he could get his hands on.
